there's a sunken village at the bottom of the lake everyone had to leave nobody could stay when they built a big dam and flooded the valley power and water for the big city now seaweed grows in the streets of my childhood carps and eels live in my old classroom the desk has rotten where i carved in my name and the bell in the churchtower will never ring again sometimes we come here on a weekend we bring bathing towels and sunmilk i tried to dive down but the water's too deep anyway down there it's too dark to see all the neighbours recieved compensation and built new homes in different locations everyone left at least that's what they say and all what happened will stay down there

august frost 02:42
brown snow red snow little ice age the river rises and the crop fails we can't afford no bread nor meat have cats and dogs and rats to eat we raise our heads to an empty sky the sun is gone we don't now why when judgement comes you pay the cost the ground is hard with august frost a trek is heading out for the west a baby sucks on a dried up breast 40 and a half degrees the corn is rotting in the fields we raise our heads to an empty sky whrere god has left and his angels cry and everything we had is lost the ground is hard with august frost it's hard to tell night from day we're chewing on our fingernails rich or poor saint or sinner all victims of the nuclear winter we raise our heads to an empty sky and stumble into the twighlight while we carry each other's cross the ground is hard with august frost

so you're there in your pink underwear in a prison tent with the president on a chain gang with pam anderson scraping cats from the tarmack in the midday sun first they paved the town then the rain came down like a waterfall on the shopping mall so you light a candle and watch weather channnel til your tv set goes under there you hang from your ceiling fan watching cars float by til your arms get tired dodging driftwood with clint eastwood on a pedalo with a bullethole first they drained the swamp built a chemical plant then there was a flood and the plant blew up so you light a candle watch discovery channel it's a world full of wonders

it's not that hard you've been doing it all your life since you the you were born and got slapped by the midwife and you screamed and swore you're gona pay her back but she was not to blame the cord was already cut let the water fill your lungs keep breathing like a cat in a bag drowned in a bath keep breathing don't hold your breath while you sink like a brick keep breathing that's the trick and here's the boat and here's a ferryman you pull the ring from your finger and throw it as far as you can then you lose your concience while little fish bite your toes who's waiting for you on the other side nobody knows

i'd take an honest job unless it earns me poverty i'm behind the hedge in a spot where the camera can't reach i could pass for a real estate agent or a tax adviser people here live a very very regular live i'm the invisible man i'm really good at being ignored everyone should make the most out of his talent so i turned mine into a job i'd like to live in a better world just like you but that's not the way it is designed so there's nothing we can do i head for the bedrooms first that's where the valuables are money, jewelery maybe the spare keys for the car there's so much wealth these days and the clearup rate is low and the neighbours they don't care they don't want to know the other day in a county house i took a little rest i fell asleep in the armchair at the fireplace i must have dozed of for an hour or so woke up to the sound of keys rustling in the door

you can find them in a raindrop you can find them in a grain of sand sometimes they talk to me i never understand you can find them at the bottom of the well the underside of a stone they rule the world, we don’t you can find them in a blossom you can find them on the inside of a shell they were here before we came they’ll be here when we’ve all gone to hell you can find them in a splinter in your finger in the dirt between your toes they rule the world, we don’t in a mouldy apple, in a dull knife’s rust in a crack in the ceiling, in a particle of dust in the snow on the ledge, in the ocean’s foam they rule the world, we don’t

we count the time we count the stars we plough the land we go at war we climb the hills and cut the trees we dam the rivers we sail the seas we crown the kings and hang the thieves we reap the grain we rake the leaves we whistle tunes and sing in rhymes the songs of love we count the time we count the time we catch the wind we lose our temper we fall to sin we build the wall we build the roof we slam the door To pull the tooth we kill the pig and stir the blood we dig the ground we turn the sod we tame the fire we flood the mine Subdue the earth we count the time

untitled 04:16
when you're not there anymore and there is so much space I'd like to fill the void and wipe away the traces til everything will collapse forced by the laws of static and the consequences will become dramatic When something heavy rolls over you you built a glass wall between me and the world I ate out of your hand You had the first and last word and I could not escape your supervision I heard your voice in my ear guiding all my decisions intimidated by my own doubts no artist no title no picture go to hell but don't take me with you trick or treat you're knocking on my door the law was made by those who won the war implanted in my soul like a bad seed you came a long time ago and you spread like weed but now you're gone and I have all need it's a victory but temporary transient like a cloud

stupid little Brother, you're on my last nerve I would like to know why you are in theis world No matter what reason, I don't think it's fair If you don't stop smiling I will push you down the stairs little brother always in the way no one gives a fuck about what you say everybody knows you're good for nothing if you don't stop smiling I will push you off that swing and I never left my parents unattended every night I sneaked into their bedroom only to prevent your conception tell me how on earth could you happen little brother ugly little freak I can hardly wait til you're alone with me mummy's gotta go to the grocery store if you don't stop smiling I will lock you in that cupboard even as a baby you were bugging everyone whimpering and crying for no particular reason mummy was so desperate she didn't know what to do I only suggested to throw you out the window stupid little brother get out of my room if you don't stop smiling I will beat you with that broom

sparrows 04:48
saw a flock of sparrows sitting on a fence you don't see a lot of them these days why they're gone you can only guess not enough insects too many cats they don't sow they don't reap they just do what they please they don't sow they don't reap they're just happy about whatever look at my, i try and try i was born on a tuesday but i still don't know why walk behind the plow since the sun when up while the sparrows pick up the crumbs little sparrow sitting on my knee you're so tired but you dont want to sleep there's so much to see and it's so much fun there's so much to do and you've only begun

he gave this town a facelift by blending new and old he's a famous architect he's known around the world he lives in geneva in a house by the lake mainly for tax reasons and because of the beautiful landscape with his stylish but functional design by blending innovation and tradition balanced with technical expertise he won many competitions he designed the forecourt at the central station as a place of mobility and movement social contact and communication he left holes above the benches in the bus station canopy so you can see a section of the sky what a wonderful idea and as a welcome side effect it should keep the drunks away junkies and beggars too cause they can't stay there when it rains it finally convinced the city's authorities but it didn't work out as expected in reality the drunks are there all day come rain or shine or snow yell insults at the passers-by and piss in every corner and the architect is very busy he builds a library in oslo it looks just like a prison with multicolored windows
